Yes. Regular volunteers will receive relevant training and supervision. Ad-hoc project/event volunteers will also be briefed on the roles, activities and expectations.
There are volunteering opportunities that can be done over the weekend or as and when you are available such as befriending or food distribution. Alternatively, you may consider volunteering your skills to help Social Service Agencies (SSAs) build up their organisational capabilities – for example, in cybersecurity, digital capabilities and presence.

Filos Community Services is an a Social Service Agency (SSA) that provides the following services:
Filos is also the second SSA in Singapore to be appointed as an SG Cares Volunteer Centre by the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY). As such, Filos performs a dual role as the SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Bedok.
There are currently 24 SG Cares Volunteer Centres (SG Cares VCs) in Singapore. The SG Cares VCs are in contact with other community partners and SSAs in the allocated boundaries. One of SG Cares VCs’ core functions is to assist with actively recruiting, managing and developing a pool of volunteers, before deploying them to relevant volunteer programmes in the community.
